How it works

6things that happen before you open the editor

Most content tools start at the blank page. Plumie starts from your goals. Here's the real flow.

1
Onboarding interview → My Brain

An interview that keeps learning you

When you join, an AI-led interview captures your goals, expertise, and voice — and adds it all to My Brain. It's not a one-time setup. As things change or go stale, Plumie asks follow-up questions to keep your profile current. If you feel you have nothing to say, the interview is what surfaces what you actually know.

Your knowledge and voice are captured once — and kept up to date.

Goal setup + Strategist

Set your goal. Get a strategy built around it.

You tell Plumie what you want — inbound leads, audience growth, authority in a niche, a product launch, partnership visibility. Plumie builds a content strategy for that goal. Every topic and draft adapts to it. This is the starting point that most tools skip entirely.

You post with direction, not hope.

My Brain

My Brain: your living memory

My Brain is where your voice, knowledge, goals, and edits live. Every draft starts from it — not from a blank prompt, not from a generic template. It grows with every interview answer you give and every edit you make to a draft. The longer you use it, the closer the starting point is to your actual voice.

No more re-explaining yourself every session.

Topics + Brainstorm coach

Research and brainstorm for your goal

Agents find topics for your specific goal — evergreen angles and what's moving in your niche right now. If picking a topic feels hard, the brainstorm coach asks leading questions to find a strong one with you. You're never staring at a list and shrugging.

You start the week with a shortlist, not a blank page.

Editor — angles + channel variants

Pick the angle. Get variants per channel.

You pick the angle and framing that fits this week. Plumie generates variants adapted for each channel — the LinkedIn version, the X version, the Threads version — each fitted to how that platform reads. One topic, no triple workload.

Post on LinkedIn, X, and Threads without running 3 separate editorial processes.

Editor + manual publish

You edit and approve. Nothing auto.

Full editing inside the tool. Nothing publishes automatically — ever. You read it, change what needs changing, and publish it yourself. Plumie never logs into your account. No API calls to LinkedIn or any other platform. No browser extensions.

The expert your audience sees is still you — not a system acting on your behalf.

Why we're different

Hand AI everything and you get AI back.

Give a chat tool a prompt with no context — no goals, no memory of you, no research — and it writes from the generic middle of the internet. That's the output. That's the scroll-past.

You've seen the posts. Five bullets. Motivational closer. The hook format from a thousand other feeds. Scroll, recognize it, skip.

The tools that produce it share the same flaw: they start from nothing. You describe yourself every session. There's no goal logic, no research, no memory of what you've already said.

Good content is a partnership — your goals, your knowledge, your voice, with a system doing the heavy lifting around them. That's the opposite of “generate me a post.”

Plumie works from your goals and your knowledge. It helps you create — it doesn't write for you.
The blank-prompt approach

One box. No goal. No context. The output is assembled from the middle of the internet — so it reads like the middle of the internet.

Where Plumie fits

General AI chat

Reactive — you ask, it answers. You can configure projects, files, and agents yourself, but it takes hours and AI-native skill, and keeping context current is on you. No goal logic, no in-tool research. ≈ $20/mo, but everything manual.

Personal-brand tools
Collective category

Quick to set up for general posting. Suggestions on request, not a proactive team. Some profile context, but goal logic and voice architecture are limited, and per-channel + trendwatching are shallow. ≈ $39–99/mo.

An honest comparison — every row is true and defensible.

Founder

13+ years in journalism and content marketing — and a tech founder and marketing lead, not just an editor. I've grown major YouTube channels as executive producer, run content and editorial for big tech companies and banks, built brand projects for startups, and been nominated for a leading journalism award.

I know what people actually find interesting. And I know how to build the workflow that produces it consistently — not just once, but week after week.

Plumie is that workflow. Rebuilt as software for your personal brand.

Hand AI everything and you get slop. Good content is a partnership — your goals, your knowledge, your voice, with a team doing the heavy lifting around them. That's what I built Plumie to be.— Ilia Nemchenko, founder

Questions

The things people actually ask

Will my account get flagged or shadowbanned?

No. Plumie never logs into your LinkedIn, X, or Threads account. No API calls. No browser extensions. No automated posting.

You read the draft, copy it, and publish it yourself. That’s the complete workflow — and it’s the safest possible way to use a content tool. The account bans you’ve read about happen when tools connect to your account and act on your behalf. Plumie doesn’t do that. It can’t. Zero access is a design choice, not a limitation.

Will it sound like AI?

Not if you use it as intended.

The tools that produce robotic content start from a blank prompt — they don’t know who you are, so the output sounds like everyone else. Plumie’s My Brain tracks your voice, vocabulary, and the positions you’ve actually taken in writing, built from the interviews it runs with you and every edit you make. Drafts start from that memory, not from a template.

You also approve before anything goes out. If a draft drifts, you catch it.

What's included in the 7-day trial?

The 7-day trial lets you try Plumie with Pro quality access — Auto and Max — across the onboarding interview, My Brain, strategy, research, brainstorming, writing and editing. Your 7-day clock starts when you launch your first AI-assisted workflow, not when you create the account. The trial includes a limited amount of shared AI usage for one brand and requires no credit card. If that usage is used before day 7, new AI work pauses but your existing work stays available. If you don't choose a paid plan by the end of the trial, your account becomes read-only and your drafts and data stay available.

How is this different from ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini?

Fair — these are powerful tools, and you can do a lot in them. Projects, custom instructions, saved context, even your own skills and agents: you can assemble a setup that knows a fair bit about you.

What they don’t give you is a system for actually producing content. There’s no proactive team that surfaces topics, interviews you to pull out what only you know, brainstorms angles, and drafts using everything in My Brain — your voice, knowledge, goals, and edits working together. And there’s no real planning workspace: Plumie gives you a content calendar with tags and Notion-level flexibility, not a scrollback of chat messages.

Could you build something close yourself? Sure — with dozens of hours of setup. But the interface still won’t be made for content, and a chatbot can’t be proactive: it waits for your next prompt. With content the hard part is staying consistent, and that takes a team that keeps nudging and helping you — not a blank box you have to drive.

What AI models power each plan?

Plumie uses provider-agnostic quality modes so the plans stay useful as models improve. Starter includes Auto. Pro and Agency include every mode — Auto, Max and Frontier. Advanced modes use more of the plan's included AI usage; Agency's edge is a larger usage budget with more seats and brand workspaces.

What goals can I set?

Any goal your personal brand serves: inbound leads from a niche, a growing audience, authority in a domain, job offers at a senior level, partnerships, or a product launch. You can set a custom goal or choose from presets during onboarding.

Plumie is built for people whose income or opportunities grow when their personal brand does — consultants, founders, senior professionals, and experts. If your goal is follower count for its own sake, it’s probably not the right fit. If your goal is a steady flow of people who already know your work reaching out directly, that’s what the system is built around.
