What this article covers
If you already have a content plan in notes, a spreadsheet, or a document, you can bring it into Plumie in one step. AI will analyze the content, detect topics and voice patterns, and help you start creating content that already sounds like you.
What you need before importing
Make sure you completed the Voice Setup (Voice Discovery) step. Import becomes available after that step during onboarding and stays available later in /Topics through the + Import button.
Option 1: paste text
- On the "Bring your plan" step, click the paste field.
- Copy your content plan, such as a list of topics, notes, or a draft structure, and paste it into the field.
- Plumie processes up to 10,000 characters. If the text is longer, the system trims it and warns you.
- Click Analyze.
- After a few seconds, you will see a preview screen with detected topics and voice attributes.
Tip: the clearer your structure is, such as one topic per line or a bulleted list, the more accurately AI can detect topics.
Option 2: upload a CSV
- On the "Bring your plan" step, drag a CSV file into the upload area or click Choose file.
- The column-mapping wizard opens. Plumie automatically detects which column contains the topic, note, and date. Adjust the mapping manually if needed.
- Click Analyze.
- AI processes the CSV and shows the preview screen.
CSV requirements: 2 MB or less, 500 rows or fewer. Supported encodings: UTF-8, UTF-8 with BOM, and Windows-1251.
Preview screen
After analysis, Plumie shows:
- a list of detected topics with checkboxes so you can remove anything extra,
- voice attributes such as tone, argument style, and signature phrases,
- already exists labels for topics that match ones already saved in your account.
What you can do on this screen:
- Confirm to save all topics and attributes to your profile.
- Edit to change voice attributes before saving.
- Delete to remove individual topics from the list.
- Cancel to go back without saving anything.
After confirmation
The topics appear in /Topics, and Plumie suggests starting with one of them right away. Voice attributes are automatically applied to all new generations.
Skip and come back later
If you do not want to import right now, click Skip. The + Import button is always available in /Topics.
